USE THE WRITE IN CANDIDATE SPACE WHEN VOTING TO PROTEST THE ELECTION.

So as this election year has been taking shape in the first month of the year, I have noticed one common thread throughout all discussions of the coming election. That idea is this:

WHEN WILL A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE EMERGE AS A LEGITIMATE CONTENDER FOR THE PRESIDENCY?

Well I dare to ask you a tougher question:

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE EXISTED?

Now this may seem like a strange question to ask for some of the older or younger voters in my audience but I truly mean the question in its most literal form. When was the last time anyone was truly excited about supporting either presidential candidate.

I feel as if we have been forced to choose between a TURD SANDWICH and a GIANT DOUCHE in every election for the last 25 years. (Sorry South Park, I borrowed your idea).

However I do not believe abstaining from the vote is the best way to protest having to choose between the lesser of two evils.

I say we organize an ELECTION PROTEST. Where everyone who doesn’t like either candidate goes out to vote, and even encourages others who feel the same way to come and vote. The trick is who they will be voting for.  The protest will be recognized by using the write in candidacy space and choosing to vote for neither of the current runners for either major party. Instead write in the name of your favorite historical president. Or any other derogatory name of your choosing bashing the candidates or mocking the election processes.

Please feel free to leave suggested write in options below. I will officially support my favorite option a week before the election.
